GR Yaris (Gen 2) GR Yaris Mk2 (MY2024->)

Were pedals ever adjustable on the first one? I did drive one a long time ago and found the pedal spacing interesting and it's been mentioned on reviews of this too. Heel and toe wasn't that natural but then some said that about the GR86 and I got used to it.

No, not adjustable.

There are some aftermarket options to move the accelerator pedal position forward and left.

I have a cusco wide throttle pedal fitted -> https://id-workz.co.uk/products/cusco-sports-accelerator-pedal-toyota-gr-yaris

Good video to watch, he clicks intercooler spray and goes through both screen menus.
He mentions both special editions to be limited to 100 unit.

At 5:57 in above video its clearly visible that the BBS forged wheels on the Mk2 are still 18x8J
Wasn't everyone talking about the Mk2 having 8.5" wide wheels?

Wow, for the first time I could consider getting a red GRY. While I never considered a red Mk1 (don't ask me why, I really don't know...) I think that this color could suit much better the Mk2 and it could even hide a bit the "wide mouth" effect that @Michael Knight rendered in a very convincing way 😅

It feels like they mixed up the button colors. The start button should be red, kind of like the S2000 – that's the cool button. Having the hazards in red doesn't make sense; it's not the 'cool' button. The engine start, now that's the button that should scream 'cool' with a red flair. It's a reminder that 'you're about to look cool.'

I also thought the guy is about to start the car 🙈☺️

What brand of tires do they use in the finland test?
It looks a lot like Lappi, (yes it has the same name as the rally driver..) smaller producer of tires and they have a non-road version with 414 studs, 2,5mm, in dimension 225 40 18. But if you look at the YouTube clip posted here it seems the brand is dimmed out..

They just said March. Not when in March.

Correct, they said ordering and allocation information would be available "from March".

@Onehp has a sharp eye and spotted the tires better, they are Not Lappi but it is a recapped tire they are using from a Swedish company... but the pattern still looks like Lappi :) Thanks @Onehp !

Details of pricing in JPN
So approximately 8% increase on top model or 14% if 8AT... so under £40k for manual and over for the auto (UK). Interesting if they keep the auto under £40k for UK market because of the higher road tax.... probably not! :-(

Regarding pricing - that RC is true bargain thinking of updates.
I'd spec
- additional differential (Touynkuriya?) 55k
- additional radiator (?) 77k
- Intercooler with CAI 44k
- Aircon 132k
- Cold weather pack 31k
- Engine undercover 27k
- driver recorder (TZ-DR210) 74k

3.5MYen + 440k extras meaning 4Myen total.
