GR Yaris (Gen 2) GR Yaris Mk2 (MY2024->)

Automatic GRY Mk2 emits 210g/km whereas manual's emissions are 190g/km.
As emissions are directly related to mileage, auto version has 10% higher fuel consumption. That's rather alot. With GR "normal" consumption it is almost 1ltr/100km, likely 0.8-1ltr/100km more.

Irl probably other way around as auto has much higher gearing in 7 and 8th. At least on docile cummute. Gunning it probably similar. Not sure why a modern auto is higher, unless there is some rule difference in the WLTP procedure...

my only reasoning for higher auto wltp is that its heavier and it has more power.
if it has direct driveine with better / smarter use of torque it should indeed go with same or less fuel per km.

Limited to 300 😂

First look at price level and options, but traditionally high taxed countries try to keep catalogue prices low...
That makes it 49 600 € (Grey, Manual Gear Box & Forged wheels) + 45990 € CO2 tax = 95 590 € !!! or "only" 52 100 € for same but Auto GB + 60 000 € CO2 tax = 112 100 € !!!!
I doubt they sell any at all of the 300 allocated in France...
:ROFLMAO:

€50,800 manual with all the options that converts to £43343! Since the GR86 manual is €34,650 with paint and that converts to £29,564 that's doesn't bode well for UK prices or am I missing something? Makes my MK1 a bargain!

Been thinking and doing man maths on the MK2, and even if I was lucky enough to get a build slot, I'm not sure it would drive that much better to warrant the extra cost (going of these predicted prices).

Factor in that my GR has been PPF'd & ceramic coated and would definitely have do the same to the MK2.

So I'm keeping mine. Unless a grey, manual, circuit pack comes in around £39/ 40k, which might make me reconsider.

I'm the same I have 28 more payments of £300 per month and have got my GR just as I would want it Eventuri, HKS Exhaust TRD kit etc and its probably already making the same power as the new one. I have driven it 1500 miles in 14 months and dont track it so can't justify the extra monthly costs just to have it sat in my garage like the current one! The only reason I would get one would be to have the latest thing but I think I am getting too old for that sort of stuff!

Waiting impatiently for answers to the following questions;

UK Price, Models & Spec
Ordering Process and likelihood of allocation
Whether we will see the special editions
If the forged wheels are an option, what design is standard

Once we have another country release info, hopefully that will give a few more clues.

C'mon Toyota. 🗓️

Likewise, the allocation worries me the most. I was tempted with that black one recently but I really want the facelift car in grey

Same here, but in my case It was a Red delivery milage one i was offered. If it had been a Black one I would have probably taken it.

I'm not sure if this has been shown already, but here's the new GR Yaris RC variant. It looks interesting, especially the large space where the infotainment screen would normally be. IMO, the infotainment delete on the MK1 RC looks much better.
