Perrin sounds about right from watching some you tube vids.
What's it like for motorway drone?
Nice, did you have the 3 or 2.5?No drone, unless it married to a noisy front pipe.
That sound great. I think I prefer that Touring version. Sounds like a deeper, less farty sound. There is a new exhaust due for release which is a game changer for me...

It sounds awesome, but more importantly some of the resonators do not use packing material, which is basically unheard of for aftermarket exhausts. Packing compacts and degrades over time so the tone and volume changes, something that bugs me as I have noticed this previously, especially if you are in it for the long run 5+ years. Thats sold it for me.
https://awe-tuning.co.uk/about-us/ UK website. Doesn't look like they have it listed yet though. Can't get a price, they sell through dealers. How much on top would it be shipping and import duties?
I'd go for the same, the one in the video is the Track version. That sound great. I think I prefer that Touring version. Sounds like a deeper, less farty sound.

Officially released yesterday. The track version is a bit gimmicky, no engineering marvel there its just a silencer delete with a small fibre packed bullet resonator in the centre pipe.
Track edition is 5.5kg lighter than stock.

The touring does have a 'twin can' layout with their own design resonators, these are the ones with no packing. From their blurb it looks to me like a type of Helmholtz resonator.
Touring edition is 0.5kg lighter than stock.
Both are 304 stainless (standard really) with a combo of 3" and 2.5" diameters, power gains are negligible (2bhp 1lb/ft). You have choice of black or chrome 5" slash cut tips which is nice.
As for the sounds...
No mention of price, but they aren't the quietest so I'd probably steer away if your plans are to replace any sections further up the exhaust otherwise it will be LOUD.
Here is a video comparing two JDL 3" exhaust setups, with decatted header and catted / resonated front pipe:
