GR86 Best induction kit for airflow?

Heads up for anyone who wants the KN filter!

I looked yesterday on the official UK KN site and it was £539.99, but only 6 available to backorder (6 weeks). I hesitated a bit and considered going for Amazon as it was marginally cheaper even with the discount code, and hopefully slightly quicker delivery.

Today, I decided I would just get it from the KN official site, just in case there might be further import costs going via Amazon - and not only has the price dropped to £431.99, but the 20% discount code kindly provided by @GRMatt74 works too, bringing the price down to £345.59 with free delivery (cheers Matt! :))

Much more attractive at that price, even with a bit of a longer wait, so I've just ordered one. Calling it a treat to myself for getting the job I was after :)

Get in quick if you want one...there's now only 4 listed as "available to backorder". I don't know if after that they become unavailable entirely for a time?

From past experience there is no difference. You need the filter to be at least partially exposed for that.

Years ago when I had my S2000 people used to take the lid off the airbox off. There was a cone inside. You heard it after that especially at 9k rpm. 😂

I have come to the same conclusion. The T&C's give a UK address. So the credit card is gettting hit, again !!

found a dyno vid that put a drop in against the full kit, gained a couple hp at the top end and a lot of noise, code worked, order placed, went for a lifetime cabin filter too, thanks for the info @GRMatt74 @Conscript

Will hopefully have a blitz panel filter for sale in about 8 weeks 😁
 
Interesting that after maintaining that the oil makes no difference to any sensors for years, they have released a "dry" option.

It does sound so good... I'm tempted.
