GR Yaris Balance of tuning and durability limits

Nice to hear, watching this with interest. How do you feel it compares to before the turbo change?
 
The most surprising change is the aural experience since upgrading the turbo. The intake wooshes were almost embarrassing with the OEM recirculation, Artec uses an external setup which sounds more civilised. Same with exhaust volume. Something about the way exhaust is flowing though now means the volume has dropped somehow. Tune still ongoing so data collection is a few weeks away yet.
 
I use the turbo smart plumb back on the OEM turbo and you are correct. It is less active than the OEM and less vocal. I think it releases the back pressure much faster. Low velocity but a larger mass flow hence less noise

Im thinking about getting the plumb back too but is it better than oem ? I'm not sure doing a remap either . I have an eventuri and would love to have a nice stututu đŸ˜‚
