It was my first Zoo event at Japfest today. Fabulous to see so many super GRs all together! Thanks for organising - and to everyone I met for making me and my wife feel welcome.

Phew! Just opened the bonnet for a quick oil check, not noticed this green stuff all over the place before, panicked for a few minutes, and then consulted ‘the zoo’. You’ve saved my sanity and weekend with this thread - thank you! 🙏

Someone’s silver 86 looking splendid - clearly found a nice spot away from the mud-bath that was the rest of the car park!

A joy to see a lovely white GR86 at Charlecote Park. Excellent example of petrolhead parking in the space furthest from any other cars! (unluckily I happened to be driving the Mini today so my 86 still hasn’t met another one in the wild yet!)

Here’s pics with and without OEM mud flaps @gearFX (ignore that the car is muddier afterwards!) Hard to see them at all when indoors on a dark colour car .

Mud flaps finally fitted this morning by the dealer. Woo hoo! The dealer left the car unwashed as requested. They said they don’t wash GR cars and most owners prefer that!

Ha ha same for me! Love these little details on this forum! Dealer left mine on and I only spotted them when vacuuming. Kept them on for now while it still feels like a new car - will remove in a bit.

Drive out to Calke Abbey in Derbyshire. Parked up (not too close) to a bigger brother from the Toyota family.

Joined the 1000 mile club today! My rather slow average of 27 mph is testament that you don’t need to be going fast to enjoy this car! (a lot of urban commuting included)
