Hi Arnie, Yes i had this too but it goes over time. I think there are some oils and greases on the car from manufacturing. These soon burn off and no more smell.

Has anyone asked their own insurer whether it will affect their excess or overall price?

I agree, i breaks up all the grey plastic and gives it a nicer look. I was toying with the idea of the whole carbon fibre center console but i think that would be too much...

I think Toyota would struggle to defend not covering track use under their warranty. The car has a driving mode called "Track". The car is advertised being used on track and drifting.

Hello JR286, i'd be interested to hear how well the side vent covers fit. I foolishly ordered some thinking there wouldn't be any difference between RHD and LHD. I was wrong. They didn't fit. I've been holding off to get some RHD ones when they are available.
