The AAWireless was on offer for £47 around Black Friday too. It may come back into stock around Boxing Day again.

Might be worth holding out for that, as it's the most updated of the big three wireless Android Auto devices, and I believe they are testing CarPlay support now too.

Currently £50 plus a 10% off voucher - read it properly this time.

Thanks. It looks like they're out of stock at the moment. I'll try the Motorola one out for now, but if there are any issues I can just return it and try the AA wireless one instead.

Is that the proper AA wireless one? I've found a Paunuzuel one on Amazon with the same discount when you search for AA Wireless.

Yeah that was the one I found as it came up first. Seems to have decent ratings. Will keep a look out for the genuine article I think.

The buttons on my infotainment unit are the other way around: On/Off/Volume is on the left, Tune is on the right. Same with the Home/Phone/Apps buttons. What's going on there then?

Ah yes, this topic was covered very early on, the first batch of cars have their volume controls and shortcuts buttons on the right closest to the driver. All subsequent cars have it on the left.

I don't think we ever found out exactly why some cars were different it appears to be random...I was in the first batch and my car has volume on the left!

Same here. It seemed a bit random.

I finally got my laser level on the GR86 headunit. Although in our RHD cars, the screen looks like its pointing to the left, it is in fact 100% dead square.

Not offset to the left or right. Just 100% square on with the car. Threw a laser line from the screen and it disects the rear window right in the middle.
