No longer on AT, wonder what it sold for, assuming it has? It's now at £35,750
I can't help feeling they're reading this thread and changing it for a laugh.
I'm going to buy it now before it becomes totally unaffordable.

Sat in Zebedee at that show. I think the press cars are interesting curios and usually many years later have a certain appeal and can have a "famous" price premium attached but that seems to come many years down the road. I think personally they are one to avoid particularly if there are plenty of photos/videos of it "on track".Ah, the famous Zebedee emerges from the twilight zone of press duty.
A few of us on here sat in that very car way back in May 2022, a good six months before any UK test drives or deliveries.

That sounds reasonable, given the low mileage. There are going to be 40+ ex demo cars coming up for sale at the end of the year. Can imagine they have had a hard life, not just from customers but from the staff. My cousin is a fleet mechanic and always has access to cars. They get thrashed, he has told me about competitions trying to get the lowest MPG popping out to get lunch. Even worse with electric cars. How much range can you lose in a mile![]()

I reckon a fair bit of the poor MPG will be down to shuffling it around the dealership premises and also a lot of idling as the sales person talks them around the car while the engine is still running, but yeah, a no f*cks given approach by unaccompanied test drivers is also to blame in the main.I test drove the demonstrator at Vertu Leicester about 4 weeks ago, at the time it had done around 2000 miles and was showing an average of 18 mpg , guessing that’s not had an easy life!
I feel guilty now.. The demonstrator I drove had 50 miles on the clock.. it was wet… I didn’t go over 4,000 RPM but loved the car.. I’ll stick some bodge tape over the MPG display as SWMBO thinks it’s going to do around 40MPG versus the ~50-55 we’ve got out of the ePaceI reckon a fair bit of the poor MPG will be down to shuffling it around the dealership premises and also a lot of idling as the sales person talks them around the car while the engine is still running, but yeah, a no f*cks given approach by unaccompanied test drivers is also to blame in the main.
I Told sales man it was exactly like Gran Turismo. He went white![]()
GTA, oh yeah! That was a real Gen-X WASD/Mouse Aim funfest. None of your Millennial Triangle/Circle/Square snowflake goings on there me-hearty! That said, my first ‘Gaming PC’ was a Commodore Amiga 500 (1987)
If you'd have said Grand Theft Auto, I wonder what he would have done...
