Looking forward to getting mine now (same colour). I took advantage of the Soft99 black Friday event and got a couple of boxes of products, which will be gifted to me on the 25th. Going to have to give it as much protection as possible, as it'll be a daily and parked on the drive outside (until I build a car-port!)

Have put a few miles on my automatic today. Auto box is fine for anyone who is waiting changes well has sport and snow mode. Initially compared to say a BMW ZF 8 speed the lever is a bit clunky to move between P R and D but I need to give it time might just be where it’s new.

I’d like to turn off the keyless entry as I’m never sure if the car is locked when I leave it. Have tried the various options mentioned in other part of forum but no luck yet. Might be a dealer visit

Sometimes the headlights stay on when I leave it and sometimes they don’t not sure how I sort that

Overall very pleased with the car although had hardly any fuel in it and got to petrol station with zero showing on trip!! Not very impressed with that

Sorry you cancelled, maybe someone on the Wait List will get an unexpected Xmas present.

I also shuffled the list a bit and moved @Ricky185 to #181 to avoid gaps 👍

We are still missing quite a few of the demonstrators, if I have missed any please let me know 😊

Hopefully passing by the GR centre at Gateshead this weekend so will stick my head in and see if it's there yet👍
 
Cheltenham haven't registered 'their' demo car still, they said they might not. Looks like the first GR86 I get to drive will be my own, oh well.
I nipped in on my way past yesterday and they said they had just (day or so before) taken delivery of their first customer car, which I think they said is being picked up today - a blue one - anyone here?
 
What running-in advice (miles/rpm/throttle/etc) have Toyota given out and when is the first service? I asked this of my local GR centre yesterday but unfortunately the chap I spoke to didn't know.

Hmmmm , wonder how that works with Toyota, my understanding was they had to be registered and couldn’t be sold until they were allowed to do so ? Looks as though a few dealers are looking to pass on as “brand new“ 🤔🤔

That will be me, picking it up this afternoon!
 
Those waiting to take delivery of the auto won’t be disappointed. Put 150 miles on ours. Changes from the auto box are slick, sport mode works well and paddle changes are great. Throttle response is instant no lag on change down even in normal mode. Extra tech you get with the auto also works well. Impressive Well done Toyota

Glad you and @Swizzle are enjoying the car , I’ve about 9 weeks to wait for mine but it will go quickly 👍
