GR86 GR86 Delivery Tracking and Collection thread

I was a 10:04 order or something around then, so fairly early. Gutted to be selling but have poured money into my E46 M3 recently and have come to the conclusion that I don't want to sell it and I can't justify having a fifth car. Mine will be the guinea pig for resale values I guess! Very aware of the irony, it seems fitting given how the whole process has gone though. If it had come on time I'd have most certainly kept it

They asked me for payment after I nudged them. You could try that although it probably won't make the car come any quicker!

It’s actually quite a sophisticated system and needs years of training to manage it

EDIT - PS it’s a double six to get your car on a transporter , any other number is how many days until its you’re turn again 👍

I assume colour and allocation of trucks to dealerships play a big part - I doubt anyone else with a similar order time is less than a week or two away from their car!
 
Mine was delivered to the dealer at lunchtime today, I can see it in the app as purchased with the VIN. I’m one of the rogues, so have been lurking a looonnggg time. I’m sure it won’t be long to wait now for many people :)

We‘ve had GRogues for a while and quite a few Lurkers who’ve come out but I believe you’re THE FIRST “Lurking GRogue“ , I’m. It sure if it warrants an entry on The Timeline, but I’m open to suggestions, @Fox on sabbatical is good at polling so maybe he can help decide 🤔

So the questions are, where about‘s are you, what colour and transmission did you choose? As I’ve becoming a betting man I’d say odds on favourite is Electric Blue Manual , a real left field is a Silver or White A@@@@@@c (I‘m no longer allowed to say that word outside of a Safe Place) 🤷‍♂️😂😂😂

Electric blue was very tempting but ordered a red manual, I’m Coventry or as Toyota call it in the app Rugby.

I will also confess I told the dealer to just screw the number plate on, and the only special coating it’s going to be getting will be made of brake dust, salt and dirty water :giggle:

Did you by any chance see a second red manual? because that would be mine if so 😅

Congratulations 👍✅😎 I’ve added you to The List at #201 , the race is now well and truly underway to be #1 to take their car home , I’ve already had one in the garage but that didn‘t count 😂
