GR86 The GR86 “The Orders / Owners List / GR86 Register”

does anyone remember on which screen in the Toyota configurator they were showing the estimated delivery date? I couldn't find it with the GR and I can't find it now (looking at a different car though, out of curiosity)

I can't recall at which point it showed, but I do remember it being 12-13 weeks for everyone at time of ordering (before 400 orders hit all at once).
 
I had a call yesterday from my nominated dealer. I was told I was one of the very luck ones ... my car is due for September this year (my order email was received at 10:07). Was advised other orders were into 2024! My order is still showing as Processing in My T app and online, and developer tools hack shows no ETA.

From the Autocar review:
"shipped and registered before 7 July 2024, which is when the legislative portcullis slams down"
So at least it's not going to be the end of 2024!! At least I know the very latest date I will get the car..!
 
I'm a 10:12 and I had the call last night which was great and TGB were as lovely as others have said.

I was told Q1 2023 which I was happy with. It gives me a chance to sell my Mercedes and buy something a bit more sprightly while I wait.

Checked the MyToyota website this morning, which has become reflex the past few weeks, and it's now in build. Nearly fell off my chair :D

So still plenty of room for things to move around!
 
I suspect Toyota might be giving later dates in order to account for any delays, but it's always best to keep customers pleasantly surprised if they get the car earlier than expected, than to give a date and have to delay it.

Loving reading the reviews so far, very excited to eventually get my GR86 😀
 
Mine appeared this week but still just showing processing. I had an alert on my phone to say it had been added to MyT.

Can’t wait for it to move to ‘build’
