There's now a 30mm gap between the wheel and arch, where stock is about 60mm I think...

Did notice yesterday the heat coming out of the side vents on the wings after a spirited run.

Yeah, he passed away in the hospice this morning. He'll have been on pain meds to make him comfortable and he'll have just faded away. Know the process as was the same for my mother. You get the call to go see her, they say she's not got long and less than 24hrs later she was gone. Once the pain meds are high enough the body gives up and lets go. It's probably the nicest way for them to go but a shame he was so young too. Was re-reading the lead up to this and it got missed by so called professionals who just said he was eating too much, which wasn't true. Few months later when they found it, it's already taken hold and is too late.

Good idea.
Mine's a border terrier so each hair has cream, brown, ginger and black so that it can be seen on ANY surface

That's what the wife's car is for, kids and dog transport.
Although my 12 year old son is really excited about the 86 and will want to travel everywhere in it.

That's fantastic - which kit is that (and was it difficult)?
I also got this kit today and fitted it and it didn't work. The connectors etc seem all ok but the driver's door lock doesn't lock with the kit fitted either from inside or outside the car. The mirrors seem to fold in and out and couple of times but then it stopped working . I'm not sure if it might be due to a different locking system on UK cars ? double locking or a faulty kit. The suppliers aren't sure either but will replace the kit but just a slight note of caution.
