Yes, although many of the roads are much improved the last decade or so. The R250 from Portnoo to Letterkenny is excellent.
 
3rd service and first MOT carried out at Toyota in Hamilton today. Clean bill of health and good service again. You do pay for the additional years warranty though with the high servicing costs in these car's.
 
My GR's battery died on the front drive yesterday, without any warning. Good job it didn't happen during my walking trip to the Derbyshire Dales earlier in the week! I've gone for a 60Ah Yuasa (with a 4-year warranty) for £90 from GSF. I've had this brand before and it's not let me down.

Same thing happened to me about a month or two ago, went to head into work one morning and it was completely dead, couldn’t even charge it. Had to call in and work from home then borrowed mum’s Suzuki swift the following day 😅 Went for the same battery as you too - reassuring to hear you’ve had a good experience with them in the past 👍 and quick turnaround on delivery was helpful for me.

might take mine there this year as i’m usually at Steven eagell MK but actually picked it up from Bedford back in 2023. can’t believe it’s 3 yrs already!

Good to hear service level remains good.

Had mine done last month with the same outcome, emailed followed confirming the next year’s warranty.

Tbh I have my Corolla serviced there too as well as my missus Aygo.
Never had any issues.
The lad who serviced it was pretty sound.
