Yep, I fully appreciate the benefits of ppf. I haven't quite wrapped my head around how it goes £15 for a wing mirror to £4k for the whole car. The scale is wildppf is crazy expensive, but it has its advantages

Did you end up just ordering a GR86 windshield then? I would assume that they would have that in the system since it's sold here.Preparing for winter over last few days.... The car will go into storage as Denmark uses a ton of salt.
Took the car to have boot and standard spoiler re PPF'd as I was not happy with the edges. Took the spoiler off so it could be wrapped over. I love how simple and straight forward Japanese cars are to take apart with no stupid hidden bolts or clips..... so one Kevin Vo video later:

Much happier with PPF now and love the hidden Subaru stamped into the metalwork underneath!
Been trying to get a replacement windscreen fitted... bit of a nightmare as all the glass systems say there is no such thing as a second generation BRZ. I thought I had it sorted with Autoglass but no.....

Luckily the GR86 trim did not fit the glass so fitter stopped before cutting out current! I am now in a computer says no impasse with all the glass companies.
Lovely day here yesterday so drove to the coast (Gilleleje) for great fish and chips! Probably last drive of the year... and the last chance for a gratuitous photo in the sunshine.

And finally I have put in my request to register the car in Denmark and move from my 6 month dealer rental on German Plates. Facing a registration tax bill of around the UK cost of a GR86 (c £28k) on top the cost of the car. Hoping as its the only one in the country for some valuation miracle that reduces that. Found out there are 17 GR86s in Denmark - roughly equivalent population wise to just 170 in the UK....
Without going down a rabbit hole - Toyota dealers I have tried will not sell and mount the genuine 'Toyota' windscreen in a Subaru .... basically they don't know for sure its right (which part number to go with as there are 7 etc), liability issue, can't offer a guarantee.... The CPH Subaru dealer is trying to gain agreement to import the windscreen as they centrally don't want to be stuck with it in stock in Denmark - and its on back order from Japan anyhow (4-6 weeks possibly). Carglass / Dansk Bilglas / Bilglasgrupen keep on trying to install first gen screen as that is what the computer says! (Private message if you have any great ideas!)Did you end up just ordering a GR86 windshield then? I would assume that they would have that in the system since it's sold here.
Where did you hear that there are 17 GR86's in Denmark? I would love for it to be true, even though mine still wouldn't be nearly as rare as your BRZ, but I have assumed that the number is 45.
I got this number from looking up my plate on nummerplade.net and went to the "statistics" tab. Here I assumed that the three different names for the car were just whatever the dealer put into the system when registering the cars to get plates for them, and that you therefore had to add the numbers up.
But who knows..
Still love the color of yours!

Based over that way (at Faslane) on and off for over 15 years and was my daily commute from Dunfermline. Fantastic roads for my motorbike(s) in the Summer. I’d pop across and say hello, but unfortunately I’ve a problem with tyre rubbing after having my BBK fitted today, so I need to get it resolved before normal driving service is resumedStaying up near Loch Lomond….!Good roads up here too![]()

Great to get the first 12 month service done today. Friendly and efficient at Group 1 Toyota Derby.
oil filter
Only if they’ve got one - which is probably why the OP gave a happy thumbs up…Why postoil filter?
Do they not always replace the oil filter?
