GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Washed, dried, vacuumed and tucked it under it's cover before leaving for sea until January.

Went for an early morning drive came back with a front grill removal cooling upgrade courtesy of a deer,

leapt out of a bush into the front left of the car going about 50mph 🤦😅 intercooler is a little dented but ok nothing else important seems damaged, drove the 15 minutes home with no issues

Anyone know the going rate for a new painted bumper and grill? 😆

Oh no! Exactly what happened to me and in the same place last year. It was fairly hefty about 3k so I ended up getting it on insurance. My premium went up by about 200. I looked at getting a bumper off eBay as Sometimes there’s ones with minor imperfections for sale but the problem was that the sensors all needed recalibrating.

Here’s a link to my post about it - I hope you get it fixed easily:

Think there was a full black bumper for sale on one of the forums.

I can now see my footsies in the dark. No more monsters under the dash. Driving at night is not as scary anymore for passengers either, they get lights too

They go bright when approaching the vehicle and dim a little after door is closed

Massive waste of money and time taking both the sides apart, tapping into the terminals and I almost lost a finger on a sharp corner

10/10 no ragrats

Renewed my insurance today with Hastings Direct (UK). Nothing changed other than an extra year’s NCD. It has increased from £330 to £540 for the year. 😳
Mine has jumped from £385 to £750 with A-Plan/Howdens! To be fair, they were only a few quid more expensive than Admiral and all others were much much more. Nothing else has changed aside from getting insured for a carbon bonnet but that only added £15

Nice! 🤩
Mine could do with being a bit brighter... 😊

Me too, I had 4 cars with A plan and been with just them for years but this year I've ended up moving 3 of the 4 cars elsewhere, now just have the GR left with them with a renewal due in about March I think.
