GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Anyone know what splitter this is?

You know what I mean though lol

I thought it wouldn't be very good for the 4wd system, would change the dynamics of it?
I can’t see what change it’ll make to the 4WD as it’s not like I’ve got wider tyres on the rear. As I’m not making any other suspension changes/lowering I don’t really want to mess with the front geo, and IMO it’s only the rear wheels that look a little lost in the arches with stock. Also don’t want to throw gravel down the side of the car chasing aesthetics 😆

I’ll see how it goes, if it adds noticeable understeer I can take them off, but I didn’t notice anything negative in my 150 mile drive back with plenty of twisties in it. I have just gone from all seasons to PS4S though!

No worries, I was more querying as I wasn't sure

For example when cornering would having the wheels in a different track width to the front affect the dynamics of how they load up... that's all I was thinking. I have no idea if this is a thing or not, I know almost nothing about suspension setups, so I am interested how it works out!

Left the Sweetie for hand brake check as rear left does not seem to get any braking from hand brake (does not lock up).
Service guy told that adjustment would not be a warranty topic but let's see. not using our best service rep for this one so let's see what's the customer experience like.

Had a meeting in the next town over. There was this super central parking garage, but due to construction work the entrance was hard to find, so I was basically the only car there.

Am I strange for wanting arranging more meetings there so I can get a good drive in, but also park (almost) risk free in this magnificent spacious parking garage/heaven?

Also a million $ idea: Bring two medium sized cones on the boot and block of adjacent parking spots.

I saw it first on another GR, think on Facebook or somewhere. From the googling I did, the only potential impact other than the usual spacer stuff around extra wear, was the slight understeer thing. Not sure about adding the 21.5mm spacing at the front and changing the scrub radius that much.

The ideal would be buying a shiny new set of Desmond wheels of course, but I'm poor now :D

Done that several times before, better stance rear, do not wish to corrupt front steering geo....
Well, having enjoyed many of your technical posts, that definitely reassures me (y)

Did some snow driving again, but traffic collapse between "fun" roads pissed me off so I cut the trip one day short. Maybe going for a drive to make up for it tomorrow - another snow storm incoming.
