Depends on what you're trying to do I suppose, I'm never on the throttle when using the handbrake.... Also let is slide a bit before going back on throttle, smoother then already being on it. For me...Keep your right foot buried too.
Works on gravel for me, used to drifting fwds on the surface. Snow might be a different story. We do t get a lot of that...Depends on what you're trying to do I suppose, I'm never on the throttle when using the handbrake.... Left foot braking also does wonders for FWD on gravel, with more or less the same effect on corner exit, perhaps even more effective/controllable...Works on gravel for me, used to drifting fwds on the surface. Snow might be a different story. We do t get a lot of that...
I’m sure I’ve been over it before, but prob 20 years ago in the Impreza/evo daysKnow it well. Brilliant driving roads.
I drove right past it yesterday, on my way to climbing Pen Y Fan (Southern Britain’s highest mountain). My mate was driving in his VW Camper so wouldn’t have been a worthwhile detour! After seeing Chris harris and a few others driving this wonderful road I decided to seek it out today. Perfect Gr weather, damp , slippery and little traffic. The first time in a long time that I’ve just gone out for a blast for the sake of it, wasted a tank of fuel for fun. What a road, drove it both directions then over Penderyn, sennybridge, Llandovery and homeView attachment 11997
Hi, any chance of a pic, as I'm thinking of a square rear plateFinally put the private reg on, front plate was too short so I've ordered a standard size one to go on instead
Really pleased with the square rear though
I’m the same. Carbon is nice, but the weight saving over ABS or whatever is negligible and an injection-molded equivalent would offer the same benefit for lot less cost.I like the sound of the eventuri intake. But I really would rather like to have a black plastic variation instead of the carbon one. For some bucks less. I am not a fan of carbon at the GRY. Does not really fit to the little dirty one in my opinion.
I did asked them about that topic. Interested in their reply. I'll post it here.I’m the same. Carbon is nice, but the weight saving over ABS or whatever is negligible and an injection-molded equivalent would offer the same benefit for lot less cost.
Yes, I know molds are expensive, but with thousands of GRs out there, there is surely a market.
