GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

I bought a Anker 400A jump starter some years ago. Works like a charm on different cars. I am the family hero that saved at least 3 Christmas 😆

Dear Corroded - (sorry I just couldn't live with that brand name .....) Im sure youve taken off the battery terminals , cleaned and " vaselined " them up , bolted them up nice and tight , then put a meter on them to make sure your over 14v with the engine running - Might not be the battery - sorry if i missed something - Hope it helps - Merry Christmas and many Happy Starts for the New year.

"Do you have any allergies?"
"Commitment"

Goes down a storm at drunken dinners with other couples and as a bonus you end up putting your keys in a bowl at the end of the night.
What do you do for a living ? said smuggly with their dinner suits and ballgowns ...... " As little as possible "

Got annoyed with it. It seemingly decided it didn't want to keep any electricity in it, girlfriend having to come over so I can jump it, after I got it started after using a battery charger. Was 13.7v last night but for some reason when I connected the charger it was down to 12v
Sorry just seen this. Have you fitted an alarm or anything else electrical that could be causing this?

I do have a tracker fitted. It did this behaviour one day but seems so far to be back to normal. Got a nice fully charged pack in the car though just in case.

Not used it in a couple of days, should be a good test tomorrow

Washed it and found a few stone chips on the front bumper . I just smiled and remembered the great drives I have had in it and many more to come … that’s what I got it for - enjoyment and creating memories .

Might be worth looking into as the source of your issue. I know those fitting alarms had a few issues in the early days as it wasn’t just plug and play.

I did a quick contactless wash on mine, not spotless but will do the job. As the photo shows, didn’t dry properly so moved off this morning with a big clunk as the rust broke grip. Also spotted some bent intercooler fins due to stones and the useless grille :(

Yeah I had a chat with MrJ too and he mentioned similar. It's the only non standard electrical part in the car and I'm pretty sure the drain wouldn't be caused by the spacers
