GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

And how many liters did you refuel? There must have been a few liters left in the tank for sure, right?
Yeah, I guess there was still a bit left, but hard to tell since I didn’t fill it up completely (I almost never use CircleK fuel, but it was the closest one to the track).
And the range was dropping way too fast though. After the last session it showed 16km, so I wasn’t too worried (the gas station’s only 3.2 km away), but once I started driving, it dropped 1km every 200m 😅

The wonderful world of Admiral Brasso. Those who were here will remember. 😀
Thanks to Admiral Brasso I became well versed in Toyotas logistic delivery from Japan to Europe and World automotive shipping movements. I don't miss the 12 months of waking up and checking the Toyota app first thing to see if the car had gone into production and being disappointed.

Hate refilling transmission or diff oil with a syringe, or worse, from the bottle with a straw. This time made a tool for it. Changing gearbox oil was a breeze.

It’s that time of the year again where the overly sensitive TPMS s***s itself and worrying its owner into thinking they have a puncture because of the cooler temps. PSA to owners new and old that the warning usually disappears after a few mins of driving when the tyres warm up a bit.

Are you filling it up until it drips, or doing the manual amount?
If I recall the manual says it uses 0.45L for the transfer and 0.5L for the rear, but I splited one 1L bottle and neither one dripped.
Next time will get 2 bottles to fill it completely.

Edit: just saw that you only did the gearbox

Did the rear diff and transfer earlier. Yeah, they take just a bit over 0.45 and 0.5 L, pretty close. You can squeeze in more if the car's not level, but theres a big chance it'll find it's way out :)

“OK level” is like 5 mm or less below the fill hole, if I remember right. But it makes sense to top it right up with such a small amount it holds.

Are you using the same oil for rear diff and transfer?

They are different, for LSD and non LSD applications, LX and LT end Codes Toyota OEM specifically.

Well this morning something small fell from top of a underpass going under a highway right on my windscreen. No idea what it could have been, definitely not something from highway traffic considering it is completely separated by massive walls. Maybe something from random bird nest hiding in there :ROFLMAO:? Luckily it was pretty slow moving traffic so I was not going fast, could not find any cracks or spider-like chips. However I've noticed two small, surface chips right in my vision... We live another day

Lucky.

I've got loads of small chips in the screen, but thankfully none have yet made it crack or been a proper bullseye

Yes, I am using the same oil for both. LS at the transfer too, as some Ravenol guys said that it was not a issue (in some topics at the forum)
