Looks like GR DashHello, how did you display the parameters on the car radio screen?
I use GR Dash. Search on Facebook.Hello, how did you display the parameters on the car radio screen?
Yes, within the contract duration.Fixed price
The monthly price is interest-free and completely fixed, meaning it won't increase with inflation.
From toyotas own site.
It's just my two cents, but just because a car is capable of something, doesn't mean every owner has a duty to drive it to its full capabilities, driving a car to its limits means you're one mistake away from crashing it, it's not for everyone (certainly not for meThought about selling it as I do not use it properly (no track days, no montain pass, no winter sideway session, etc.). Even if I push it on the road (when it is safe to do so), it felt like somebody else would be happier with it.
Then I went over the numbers. Having another car, with my current us of it, would be way cheaper and more useful.
However, this would also mean losing a lot of the value of the car (bought new) and not having a family at the moment I do not need any other car. Therefore, I made the choice to keep it and since I made this decision, my loved is renewed and I'm naturally taking longer path and little funny roads to enjoy it.
Couln't be more happy having it now that I had doubts.
Enjoy this car as much as you can, it is EPIC !
pins seems to get bad fast so recommending swapping to new pins after a while, depending on abuse.changed front and rear brake pads, was still on the first set after 4years 20k miles all road driving no track, rears were just over half worn, the fronts had about 2mm left,
bottom caliper pin at the front on both sized was a t**t to get out, not a suprise after 4 years of of not being touched, cleaned some of the build up off and went back in ok, will probably buy some new ones though to swap out when I next have the wheels off for a clean, maybe I should start braking abit harder so it's not so long next time![]()
Nothing a wire brush doesn’t fix though.pins seems to get bad fast so recommending swapping to new pins after a while, depending on abuse.

Do you know the part numbers for the caliper pins?
Was this in caliber service kit or separate?04947-52080
Comes as a kit from Toyota
Separate I believe. I have it saved as was planning on doing a brake clean as you can literally hear me coming a kilometre away with my brake squeal. But just booked my 30,000km service so I will just get them to sort it while it’s in.Was this in caliber service kit or separate?
same here - bit annoying feature in city.Separate I believe. I have it saved as was planning on doing a brake clean as you can literally hear me coming a kilometre away with my brake squeal. But just booked my 30,000km service so I will just get them to sort it while it’s in.
The goal with this setup is to reduce flex in the rear (stock) suspension for better handling and to test how the Valino Ebisu Matsuri tyres are, especially with their higher treadwear rating. What is your goal for this setup?
Wow - the 2011 Cayman R is an awesome car and still on my bucket list… What made you come back?Today, I bought my 3rd GR Yaris, again a Gen1 Pure White. I had a brain fart last September and in the space of a week, sold my 36,000 mile GR and found and bought a 2011 Porsche Cayman R, awesome car, but I still missed the GR, so I'm back!!!! The R has gone and the GR is back!!!![]()
