GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Wow - the 2011 Cayman R is an awesome car and still on my bucket list… What made you come back?
I had the same thoughts but then decided what's the added value + GR is newer car. Which is faster - don't care.
if you appreciate more of 6 cyl N/A then it's maybe nice, but overall go as/when you like i think GR has upper hand. + it has much more roads (= availability of fun) to tackle.

Exactly, to be honest, the Cayman is a bit more car, but the GR can be used a LOT more often

Finally decided to change the wheel colour. Opted for Porsche Neodyme OZ1.
A local garage run by grandad, father and grown up son at RimTek in Bradford did them and was pleased at the price of £380. Normal price is about £50 less for standard colours which I am getting my Yaris cross changed in a months time. I chose it because it isn't an "in your face" gold but a pastel with a hint of copper/bronze.
I was surprised to find that now in a lighter colour the spokes are different. Every 4th spoke has double the detail on it. Even the chap doing them said he didn't notice that when black but lighter and the detail on the spokes can easily be seen. Had it 4 years and not noticed that.
Another point he showed me was they were not fully painted inside along with a set of honda wheels he was about to do. He said some wheel makes are completely painted as mine are now and other makes just do the outside. all just to save a few pence.
Photo taken over Buttertubs Pass North Yorkshire where the car basically spends its life.

That's a gorgeous colour, really suits your car.

How're you getting on with the wheels? I'm very much considering the same for mine
Just cleaned my car and loaded the wheels in the back ready for a trip to my tyre guy at 9am tomorrow. I shall report back with pics. Swapping the tpms and PS4S off my circuit pack wheels on to them and putting my circuit pack wheels into storage.

I'm looking for a couple of replacement floormats for my GRY MK2. I found some replacements from HKS but they're quit "shouty" and expensive. I would prefer some discrete high quality floormats which resist wear better than the originals. My originals are almost gone after 3200kms :(

I bought a cheap boot carpet and used the OE mats as a stencil, cut the boot carpet into "disposable" mats, and to my surprise have been lasting for the past 4 yeras !

Actively looking for a cheap boot mat. Not to do anything else with it.

It's just that I don't want to spend almost £100 (including delivery) for a bit of protection in the boot.
