If it didn’t have the tyre stickers I’d say that’s close to perfect.

I allways have to think about the katakana Fu when seeing the taillights xDNoted that GR's rear lights resemble of a corner - tight corner-combo (like kirraa in finnish) - or maybe it is just that people see corners everywhere...
Reverse psychology, I try to keep my cars discrete nowadays so most the time I'm happy to go under the radar, however still like a compliment every now and then of those that are in the knowI’ve had far more unsolicited compliments on the GR than any other car I’ve owned.
Drove it on some fantastic B roads, and the A68. It’s been 7 months and 6.5k miles and it still makes me smile every single time I drive it. It’s not been off road at all but the weather has left it looking like this since yesterday:

My next service includes gearbox oils I’m hoping that might be the simple fix to a not always great shift.30tkm service (engine + driveline oils) + new windscreen wipers + new headlights as warranty item.
Gear change feels brisk always with new oils.
what was wrong with the headlights?30tkm service (engine + driveline oils) + new windscreen wipers + new headlights as warranty item.

the upper mounting clips had broken - there has been few in Finland batch at least with same issue. no biggie but got it under warranty item so they swapped them.what was wrong with the headlights?![]()

Toyota adjusted it, made it better not perfect, some others who have had the same issue have gone the torque mount replacement route but I want to keep it standard to avoid rocking the boat if it fails completely (have had it not go into gear completely on an occasion) i see it as that’s what the warranty is for but at the same time if they’ve adjusted it the next step is the oil.Is it less than great even with the car stationary?
Other than Toyota improving it a bit for you, which I think you posted about some time ago, have you tried the torque mount replacement route or anything similar?
what is this in the picture?Whilst getting the ( what seems like ) obligatory monthly GR Yaris servicethought I’d may as well get the Airtec intercooler done with the bigger boost pipes at the same time.
