Thursday I think...just waiting for final confirmationWhen's the big day?
Water doesn't pool on fabric.
Correct. There's no metal in the basin of the rubber mats. Seat rails were mentioned, I believe-- water pooling in the basin of the rubber mats isn't getting to the seat rails except by evaporating and raising the humidity in the car. But it's hard to see how the same water, absorbed into a carpet, isn't also going to evaporate and raise the humidity in the car.
Having the aircon on will also help getting moisture out of the car.Correct.
I've made it a habit of either driving with a window slightly open to aid moist hot air getting out of car, alternatively when arriving, leave the doors open bit longer than strictly necessary, again to let hot and moist air to escape the interior. Like that I have no major fogging issues despite drsgging in quite a lot of snow on footwear and sometimes clothes.
That's a given but thanks for reminding, switching it off only causes issues...Having the aircon on will also help getting moisture out of the car.
As you wish. Intended purely as some friendly advice. Moisture sitting in the car equals damp. XThere's no metal in the basin of the rubber mats.
