GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Thanks, how did you manage to have Toyota do it?
Phoned them (local Toyota dealer) first then took it in and asked for a windscreen replacement. They ordered in a new one but I guess still use an outside contractor to fit it, do the alignments for TSS, HUD, etc.

And your insurance covered it?

I didn't do it through the insurance (should be obvious from the cost) but I reckon they would have replaced it if I had, as the policy has windscreen cover. I did it through Toyota as my local place know the car and I trust them to get things done properly.

Fair enough, just seemed a little bit odd that you might spend an order of magnitude more money on the basis of a lack of trust, I wondered if you’d had it done at Toyota and managed to claim the costs back.

Just went into national windscreens to check they had the right screen, they did and they offered to do it here and now instead of Monday.

Replaced Airtec catch with Golebys parts one, didnt like the mounting position. Found quite some waste in there. Never opened it before, but checked the dipstick and it didn't show this much few kkm ago.

Will see how they do when they settle in after few days, at the moment I feel like 007's Vodka Martini - shaken not stirred.

Please keep us updated on those mounts. I'm quite interested in buying myself a set but excessive nvh is an issue for me (it's fine for it to vibrate at idle but there needs to be a rev range when driving where the vibrations are reduced).

Took mine into dealers this morning after bad Estonian winter roads and pot holes have messed with my alignment. They use a John Bean (SnapOn) Laser system over here. All fixed for 91 euro back to factory settings. Put my car through an automatic car wash that is contactless (no brush) but does an underbody jet wash to un-salt and make the mechanics life a little bit easier before turning up to dealer. Car drives straight and feels much better and a little quieter now!

Sorted the wheels and tyres with TPMS for another of our members here local to Latvia @Marcis , will be delivering and programming them next week.
Most probably will be put to use next winter.

So as to not stray from topic, refueled my own car today. Managed to keep it tidy from last wash, funeral tomorrow.

Just put Nokian Hakka10 on the wifes car. Good tyres. I have ran studless Nokians on my GR all winter and not died yet.

Forwhatever reason the ledbar suddenly does not turn on anymore, either fuse , relay or the CAN BOX

Well its not the fuse, there was a bad smell around the place where the relay is located. Let's hope it's only that...
