So my V750 has just arrived, which was a pleasant surprise - I was expecting a delay due to the recent week-long DVLA staff strikes.

A general plate-related question - are existing plates (which are stuck rather than screwed on - and of course recently applied) generally easy to remove?

Is any equipment (e.g. dental floss, hairdryer for warming/softening purposes) advisable?
Mine arrive yesterday :) .. was pleasantly surprised to see it coming so quickly - within 3 working days.
All set for the delivery now - 5 days to go!
Except that I just sent the "n"th email to the dealer to take deposit for the part and order them in time. I've never seen a more disinterested dealer - clearly they are not making much on it and hence not prioritising GR86 orders.. but there has to be some work ethics and reputation to maintain.

Half a kettle of hot water, and a couple of flat head screwdrivers wedging the plate out off the base so the water runs behind the plate.

Cheers @Chris Mc

Just waiting for my new number plates to be delivered now (from the supplier mentioned by @doogle83 above) and then I can do the online bit, ring the insurer and get the plates on!

I've seen a great looking one for sale! đŸ˜³

My plates arrived today - thank you @doogle83 for the supplier recommendation: PFC

The plates are great quality and they arrived much quicker than I thought they would.

I've gone for the standard acrylic text, with no flag/badge, but with a nice silver border to match my car and my hair
