That's sounds positive, fingers crossed I might get some movement soon confirmation was @ 10.28 but won't be holding my breath! If the car is as good as Toyota's communication the internet will be awash with nearly new ones for sale next year

I emailed them yesterday. I am the last order to process and they said I would hear from them end of next week best case. Could be the week after.
Ergo I would say most should have heard in the next fortnight.

They told me there are just two of them doing it with a lot of calls to make yet.
I had an email after my live chat last week
'Please rest assured, your car has been ordered and you are in the queue to be contacted for your welcome call. The timing of the welcome call does not effect the lead time of your car in any way'
So as some people have said if you've got an ORCA you are in, but I agree it wouldnt have been hard (and would have taken a lot less resource to just send that to all, instead of fielding calls). Do think there was some element of Toyota UK trying to create 'hype' much like swatch did with the moonswatch, buts its not a 200 quid bit of plastic.

I can see the point of “hyping“ something up if you’ve got thousands of them sat in a warehouse looking for a customer but at the moment virtually all car manufacturers cannot meet demand for whatever it is , Ford have almost sold the entire 2022 U.K. allocation of the Fiesta already
I have a confirmed order/orca number @10:28 20/04 but no call as yet.
It would appear that Toyota UK were expecting a lot of interest but were not prepared for the rate of sale which was more akin to trying to secure tickets for a concert than a £30k car. It's uncharted territory for us as buyers and for them as sellers but if nothing else it's exciting and I'm just thankful that I'm in with a chance of securing one of these highly sought after cars.

I'll be furious as well but the longer we wait for the call then I think next year looks more likely, would probably wait until spring 2023 but beyond that will seriously consider cancelling
Yep seems like that's the new marketing way, watches,trainers,cars. Woohoo communication from Toyota, email welcoming me to Toyota Buy Online reminding me to upload my license if I haven't already done it (did it on the 20th) will get a phone call in the next couple of weeks, I'm thinking I should have had this email 2 weeks ago? But hey it's communication!

Double woohoo, got the toyota call today, very helpful - they already knew I was going to ask for the plates to be stuck on as others on this forum have asked. 
As others have said, it's the person who e-mailed you who call. My order was 10:09.
You should get your call soon.
The caller was really helpful, answered all my queries and completely put my mind at ease....
