Ordered 20mm spacers in black

Trial fitted 1x wheel, immediately removed

It looks laughably hideous on the stock height and camber, I'm sure the height is because I'd jacked it up and not driven it a little.

Ordered 17th Feb and arrived 28th Feb via carnoisseur, their comms were good fwiw. Would use them again.

What did the 20mm space look like on the rear?
 
I have a set of Eibach 15mm and 20mm spacers that I used on my GT86. They really improved the stance on that, on stock setup, the wheels look kind of sunken in to the arches. I kept them and was thinking of using them on the GR86, but I don't think the new car needs them as much, and your photos confirm it. So I think I'll just sell them when I can be bothered to get photos of them (unless anyone reads this and might be interested, just let me know).
 
Not put them on the rear yet but I can get them on if anyones interested to see them before the car is lowered.

I'd be interested to see 10mm spacers front and rear.
 
There is careful balance between ride height and wheel offset, lowering a car with weak offset wheels makes the car look like its a hovercraft, spacing the wheels flush with a big arch gap makes it look like a monster truck. 20mm works fine when lowered, I reckon 10mm if you aren't, they need to live in the shadow of the arch.

@Bathroom_Security I take it you will fit these again once you have your Bilsteins? I will be interested to hear what you make of them.

Yeah that was the plan, intentionally fitted to see what 20mm with stock height and camber looked like
 
Here is max camber added supposedly 1.75 negative, a lot better. Hopefully be OK once lowered. Again not driven other than back and forth on the drive.

I've left the rears for now as I think it'll look awful

Bumping this thread as I started my own, but completely forgot a thread already existed :/

Anyway...just wondered if anyone else had any more experience on using spacers with a stock setup? I still have my 15/20mm Eibachs sitting in the garage that I'm considering putting on, as I've had the alignment done now which means I have a bit of camber up front.

Ooo...this is something I hadn't thought about. I used 15m spacers with integrated studs on my old car and they fit the wheels just fine; I assumed it would be the same for the GR, but worth checking.

I know this post is a year late, but I figure it might be useful info - I have just had the rear of the car jacked up, so while I was there, I tried fitting my Eibach 15mm bolt-on spacers, and can confirm that the pockets in the stock wheels are deep enough to house the OEM studs sticking through. I didn't go ahead with fitting them yet, as frankly I'm still not sure about running them, but it seems they fit okay.
 
that’s interesting! Everything I read said it wasn’t possible. Why aren’t you sure about running them? I think 20mm on the rears is too much and 15ish about right with subtle drop.
 
I'm maybe a little biased but I think factory wheels on 20mm is the perfect setup. Around 25-30mm drop in this pic.

Looks great from that angle but it’s from the rear quarter I feel the tire is a little too far out from the arch/bumper and gives it a bit of a 4x4 look

Just a bit wary about any potential issues with affecting steering, geometry, bearing life, etc.

Also if I fit them, it will be 20mm rear and 15mm front. And my car isn't lowered. I ran these same spacers on my GT86 and it had the effect of making the car look like it sat lower even on the storm suspension.

My car is on Adjustable lower arms, my rear camber is set up at -1.5degree. It actually tucks in more in real life than the pics. Also the road is camber heavily to the drivers side, so the passenger side rear wheel is most probably 0 or Positive camber... :ROFLMAO:
