GR Yaris Ships in Transit

Well, tomorrow evening it should arrive in Malmo, wonder how long the car will physically be there, and what the chances are to track which ship and when will bring it to Estonia

Generally a week. It will be on the other ship from the one it’s currently on from Malmö to Paldiski.

Alright, funny or not, maybe i booked it in that date unconsciously, but on July 14 i will be in Paldiski
Have a 2 hour safari tour on a quadbike around Paldiski general area, maybe before or after ill drive by the shore storage parking lots and the car will be somewhere there at that time already 😅 Last time i was near Paldiski and drove by the lots i had a work related car test of the then new Citroen C5 Aircross and its direct competition. It was some years back now though.

I'm betting that you will get your car before I get mine (really happy for you, anyway :D).
With Italy is always the same old story... Troublemakers everywhere (the strike in Livorno Port, this time), and things never work the way they should...
Any news on your ETA from the dealer ?

Thank you @Armijs , but still no news at all...
I'm quite losing it now, because knowing that my car for the last (almost) 2 weeks has been on a truck going around Europe (under scorching sun, hail and floodings) without having any hint about a plausible ETA, it is really making me go crazy.
The dealer insists that the only feasible deadline is mid August, and I still don't know for what reason at all.
It's always the same old story with Italy, nothing is ever done the right way, I really can't stand it
I'll sure keep you posted...

Whoa, could this be, Danube is continuing to Paldiski straight away from Malmo, but dealer did confirm ETA is still July 31 just today... one can hope but probably it will be sitting there for a week.

They always do the same route. Your car will be unloaded at Malmo and Toyota North Europe Hub will be processing the car and tailoring it and checking to your home country. It will be ready by the time Elbe Highway gets to Malmo and continue its way to Paldiski on it. That's how the Estonia, Finnish and Lithuanian orders have been done previously. Not long to wait now ;)

Kess finally updated their out of date schedule, Elbe will arrive in Paldiski on 17.07, so i can stop bothering looking at cars this Sunday there 😅

Slowly acquiring accesories as i wait, OEM scuf plates, Hella Twin tones horn already got, ordered today OEM wind deflectors for the doors as they should be really useful both in rain and in winter so the top of the window is snow free, with the frameless door design.

Scuf plates and the wind deflectors will be going on straight away as i get the car, then PPF treatment, and after PPF ceramic coating it myself, so anything that needs to be sticked to the car comes before and then sometime later horn together with a ledbar, when ill decide which one to get, probably sticking it behind the bumber, that is why doing it together with the horn so i dont have to remove the bumper two times. And after that soon mud flaps and an exhaust whenever they will get around it, and that is pretty much it i guess, Braid Fullrace A J7 ET 35 when autumn will get nearer, want to stick 205/50/17 for the winter, the price with shipping was laughable like 900 EUR without VAT, so quite pleased.

Where did you order the oem wind deflectors ?
I am looking to order some stuff but there is nothing yet at least in Switzerland 🤣

As i am within the Toyota network, i just ordered them myself straight from Japan, as they are also not available as an accesory locally as well. But i still have to see if they will be denied from Toyota or not, as they are only for JDM. If that happens, ill just order them much more expensive that i would from Toyota.

As i type this, my parts guy said that we were rejected to order them, oh well, ill just order them either from a Polish internet store or from Tegiwa, as i saw them available there. It is what it is, as i definetly want the deflectors... Only can get mats, and scuff plates as accesories locally. And other useless bits.

All the accesories for the Baltic market so far, both the same either for MK1 or MK2:

The best price i found, they also provided two different ones, OEM and TRD deflectors, was Greenline motorsports, ships internationally, asked for a quote to my country now. 101 EUR for OEM and 116 EUR for TRD, + shipping + taxes and VAT when receiving locally.

Ah yeah , that's sad they only make for the jdm market and also the TRD body kit looks so good but not allowed ....
We will se if it change in the futur , hopes so 🤣😅
Even if it won't happen.
Only the giacuzzo kit will be available 😅

EDIT: it might already be on a trailer headed for Latvia, saw multiple possible forms on them as they drove off. Maybe tomorrow evening ill get a call from the dealer that it has arrived.
Hope it arrived soon for you !!!

After being left with no news about my car since it was disembarked in Sagunto (27th of June!), I tried to understand a bit more about what's happening with the help of my dealer.
On their systems, the car is still stuck at "Port/Customs", even if their email on 27th June stated that the car was already on the car transporter directed to the dealer.
There is also a tentative day of delivery to the dealer on the 29th of July, but the same dealer told me that usually it's not a reliable info.
The dealer also told me that the delivery of Toyota/Lexus cars to all European countries since a few years has been centrally managed by Toyota Europe, and not by the single country of destination, like it was before.
He told me that I'd have full rights to complain about this situation with Toyota Europe, by writing to them and asking them about where the car actually is, and by when it will be actually delivered to the dealer.
Did anyone tried this path before?
Is there an email address of Toyota Europe I could write to for something like that?
Thank you everyone!
