GR Yaris Ships in Transit

Thank you again @Euge and @Armijs!
Actually a few minutes ago I was the saddest man in the world (a bit overreacting, I know...) once I saw that Galveston Highway is now heading to Bristol, with no stop in Livorno.
I guess it is due to a strike in Italian ports for all the next week long.
Italy is always a land plagued by multiple daily strikes, you know...
But right now I received a whatsapp message and email by Toyota: my car is on the car transporter headed to my dealer (among other destinations, I guess).
So it should be a matter of a few days before the car is with my dealer! :D
I also guess customs shouldn't be a problem anymore, since the car is already into the EU territory.
Huh, so i guessed right in the end anyway, that it would arrive from Spain by land ๐Ÿ˜… Well, your wait is almost over i suppose, still more than a month left for me, doubt ill be able to figure out on what ship it could be after Zeebruge.

Ohhh, thanks for that juicy bit of info neighbour ! 5 days till UK

and the ODIN Highway appears to be travelling the canal again.

Yes, you were totally with in your guessing! :D Best of wishes for your delivery as well, then!

Dont see Galveston Highway as expected in Zeebrugge port :( Saw ships till July 17 it was not there, maybe it is a different port nearby that is the actual destination, have to wait for it to leave Bristol as it has just arrived almost to see what comes next.

If you go here https://www.bristolport.co.uk/shipping/dock you can see that Galveston Highway next stop should actually be Zeebrugge.
It should leave Bristol by early morning tomorrow.

Odin Highway has now changed course and is not sailing through the canal after all

It sure is a longer wait, but I think they are doing the right thing also from our point of view. The canal is still very unsafe, and the risk is to never get the car delivered if anything goes wrong...

Looks like Danube Highway will be my ship from Belgium, it is also going to Belgium now at the same time as Galveston Highway, arrives two or three hours after Galveston.

I'm betting that you will get your car before I get mine (really happy for you, anyway :D).
With Italy is always the same old story... Troublemakers everywhere (the strike in Livorno Port, this time), and things never work the way they should...

It shouldn't be like that, but we just have to wait and see. ๐Ÿ˜…

I can see both Danube and Galveston docked in Zeebrugge and quite close to each other now.
And Galveston is staying there quite for long given its usual brief stops. Many cars to disembark, apparently! :D

Yeah, probably, just have to wait and see how far Danube gets during the weekend. The app updated during midday, at the same time got an email as well, but still no VIN in app.

Still no VIN for me as well, even if my car is in the penultimate stage of delivery, they should already know it.
It's really a mysterious process, Toyota should take better care of it, particularly for cars in limited numbers and with long waiting times like the GRYs.

VIN does not appear until itโ€™s at the dealership and processed. ๐Ÿ™‚
