GR Yaris Ships in Transit

Until somebody opens that door and scratches rear bumper :)
Congrats man, I'm happy for you. Waiting for my moment.
That door worried myself as well... 😰 But from the others photos they sent me, I saw they moved it in a safer place...:D
Thank you, hope your moment comes very soon.

Great news! Please post some more pictures and a review when you have driven it. Enjoy!
Actually due to holidays season (for the dealer) and some wrap to be done, along with the usual days required to setting up the car before delivery (washing, registrations...), I will likely pick it up by the first days of September...
Quite hard to wait still so many days, but at least it arrived in one piece, it's already a good start. 😅

Well guys, almost there...

In the unlikely case they can register it today, i will be collecting it tomorrow, but otherwise, Tuesday or wednesday most likely, almost got it now.

Little update on my side, this morning talking with my dealer I discovered that the car has been actually delivered (they said in Livorno but I’m not 100% sure) on June 27th and still after almost 6 weeks they are not able to provide me a delivery date.. 😑

Hello @T0M
I guess you are exactly in my shoes.
My car was on Galveston Highway ship that docked in Sagunto (Spain) on 27th June. On 27th June I got a message from Toyota, reading that my car was on a car transporter towards the dealer.
After that, a long silence, and finally on 30th July, I received the message that the car was soon to be delivered to the dealer.
On 31st July it was already with the dealer.
So I guess your car is still being prepared by a Toyota Center and waiting for a transport to finally get to the dealer.
Holidays are slowing down every thing now, you have to be a bit patient.
I'm pretty sure you should receive soon the last message by Toyota Italy before the final delivery of your car, but I am also quite sure that your dealer won't be able to know the exact date of delivery until the car is on the transport to the dealer itself, if things will work for you like it did for me.
Best of luck with the very last steps of the process, then!

I've got some good news today as-well. My car (gray auto) already has VIN and dealer says it's in-arrival. Scheduled to arrive at home-port early October. MyToyota is still stuck in "processing order" :)

Hi Guys, sorry if this has been covered a million times before. I’ve received the notification on Tuesday the 13th august 2024 “your Toyota has left the factory” does this mean that it’s on a ship on its way? if So is it still likely that it’s shipped the day before. Just trying to work out this whole ship tracking thing.
Cheers P

More than likely on Euphrates highway (same ship my mK1 came from Japan on!) which left Nagoya on 10th august. it will be in Bristol approx 17th of September.

Amazing!!! 😍😍😍
How are you getting on with the auto? Any regrets?
No, no big ones anyway, only inconvenience compared to a Toyota hybrid is that you have to put your foot down when you come to a complete stop while on active cruise control on the brake pedal yourself, other than that it has been a great blend of creature comforts and performance. As long as the roads are pothole free, best car i could wish for, cant wait for first oil change, i am at 1000 km now, probably beginning next week the time will be here. Sometime after 1500 km's. Cant wait for winter. Which could arrive faster this year by a month or so, judging by how other seasons have behaved this year.

Ask your dealer, they probably have estimated time of arrival to home port or dealership already. Mine car is possibly on same ship.

No idea when the next Sagunto ship is but the ships usually take one of two routes:

Nagoya-Livorno-Bristol-Zeebrugge
or
Nagoya-Sagunto-Bristol-Zeebrugge

@Euge
thx for support

in average i think that transit time from Sagunto/Livorno through gibiltar may be something like 2 weeks....
is it correct this forecast ??
Usually Nagoya to Bristol is approx 4 weeks. then another 2 days from Bristol to Zeebrugge. Hard to give exact timing as it all depends on how busy ports are and how many cars are being unloaded.
