GR86 Second UK Batch?

My dealer flat out refused to do a solo drive of it. Despite same dealer letting me have the Yaris for an hour unaccompanied.

I know, why are they doing this? ....that's my question.

You can barely get a proper test drive in a car that you can actually order let alone one you can't (for now). I noticed from dash photo my freind sent the mileage is only showing 350 miles.

Just makes me like Toyota as brand and our local dealer even more as the majority of the car world's a mess (design wise and the way they treat customers)

Yeah, I could ask my nominated dealer, RRG Rochdale, but I'm not that bothered personally - it was more to do with the suggestion that everyone will have been offered a test drive by now.

Same here, I was going to wait until the warmer months to arrange a test drive and then mine arrived early. My first drive will be in my car.

It's a good thing the dealer info has been super reliable so far so no reason it won't be going forward.

And they definitely aren't keeping the demos because they use them as halo marketing to get people buying a giant SUV with a GR badge on the back.

Neither of my mates that had test drives are potential SUV drivers that's for sure

One of them used half a tank of fuel on his test drive.

I suspect it’s going to be low like 50 cars. And open to those on the waitlist. But it’s Toyota and everyone expected them to sell the cars through the dealerships

Judging by this it wasn't 400 anyway? Maybe the additional allocation gets them to 400?

Matt Harrison didn't say the UK are definitely getting more allocation. It was inferred by Autocar.
