You’d have to be mad to pay 30% over list for one of these. Someone might try and get £40k but there won’t be a long queue of buyers!Yeah I think they’ll be 10k over list here at least. Look at the jimny of which there are a fair few thousand. They’re going for 10-12k over list for low mileage and even a 30-40k mile example is 7k over list.
I think that about the jimny. I love them and would love one for my fly fishing trips to the highlands but there’s literally no chance I’m paying 30k for a tiny 4X4 that’s pretty shit to drive on anything other than fucked forestry trails and off road courses.You’d have to be mad to pay 30% over list for one of these. The interest rate on the finance would probably be 8-9% in 2023 too.
I know Honda are at 6.9 as it stands although their finance rates are always high it seems but Hyundai have gone from 4.9 on the i30N a couple months ago to 8.2 as of October 1st. Mercedes are at 7.9, BMW seem to average 5.9 with a few at 7.9 and even 8.9!
I don’t remember them being that high in recent years apart from on used cars maybe.
If Toyota marketed the car 2023, it would be a £35k car, just because of the cost hikes associated with supply chain woes.
There will be folk that will buy UK cars for £35k+
* no waiting
* exclusive 430 cars ONLY
*positive auto journal reviews
*classic status the moment its driven off the sales forecourt
as and when it turns up there is a warm feeling that residuals will be higher than RRP for 2 years plusI’m getting closer to deciding to flip mine.
