My display will arrive tomorrow with DHL.

I won't install it for a few weeks since the car is in the garage..... but Phil, how did you remove the original air vent? Is there any trick?

You should get a full installation manual with it.
It just pops out if you use a plastic tool to remove interior parts.

I already have the screen. But there were no instructions, follow the question to you. Thank you Phil.
 
Just like this. With two tools it‘s easier.
There are two clips on the top.
With two of these and a little bit of force, it just pops out.

Are these available for RHD cars and if so who is selling them? I'm in Zurich next week which may make UK import easier.

I live 30min from Zurich and will be in the workshop nearly the whole week. 😉

To your question:
Yes, they‘re also available for RHD cars in a couple of weeks.
Best to write CanChecked directly who‘s the UK importer.

Oh cool! Yea I was hoping to bring one back in my rucksack rather than import.

It’s a German Company.
I ordered 5 for LHD and haven‘t received them yet.
But i already asked them about the RHD Version.
I‘ll let you know as soon as i get an answer.

Nice one. I'm in Germany the first week of April so can hold out until then
