GR Yaris Rötheli Racing GR Yaris

It for sure doesn‘t help, but i‘ll keep the A/C forever.
It keeps me cool during summer, which is much more important for my laptimes than the 10kg, and in spring/fall it makes sure my windows doesn‘t fog up when it‘s cold and wet outside.
Tend to agree. it is a big comfort item in any car. and reduces nicely driver fatigue. And it makes you definitely look and feel cooler on pits!

Again great video. 😎.

I've heard (only a couple of people ) .. Say that when they fitted the stage 3 cooler the lag was massive. And then they sold it on. Guess it's a trade off.
It for sure adds lag with the huge IC and huge pipe diameter.
One more reason i wouldn‘t recommend this for a street driven car.

But for a track car with lots of boost and which is always driven in high RPM, i think that‘s negligible.

Yeah. I’m not 20 anymore. And i don‘t get any younger. 😂🤣

LJK Setright considered air conditioning one of the biggest performance upgrades. Only when you are cool and comfortable can you drive your best, was his angle.

or then you just need to be fit to do the job ;)

Motive Video did an review regarding different Intercoolers and the surface area when they also faced a similar fate with more power. From Plazmaman to a Process West intercooler (similar to Airtec in style). Heatsoak is in general a topic in the Gr Yaris i guess.

if you look closely the factory prepped race GR Yaris cars the whole front end is full of various coolers, so when pushing harder heat is issue yes.

Just curious if it was pushing 15W-50 through stock-clearance bearings, or did you go with extra-clearance ones (like the ACL Race HX). Also how did the VVT-i like the thicker stuff.

We did run that engine for 3 years and 15 Race Events. 😅
So i assume it was okay with it. 😁

Not blaming the oil ;) Just wondering.
I'm putting together a new engine and a bit on the fence - you, HKS, and the local rally crew say go thick, but Gazoo Racing seem to prefer the thin stuff.
