Fun fact NGK Plugs for the G16E-GTS come in packs of 4. Looking forward to fitting these when I get time at the weekend.

On your 3rd change you get a 4th free. Bit like a Costa coffee loyalty card.

Did you get the ruthenium LKAR8BHX (91784) again? Just ordered a trio. After reading through the thread, I’m going to treat them as a 20k mile service interval item. I read that they are factory gapped at 0.8mm, will probably put them in as-is.

No, I don't think they lasted any longer than the standard plugs.

I just bought another set but haven't fitted them yet due to an undesirable Yaris/fauna interface scenario taking my car off the road for five weeks and counting

The car does seem hard on plugs, they don't last anywhere near what Toyota seems to reckon they should.

I'm at 70k km and have noticed a slight hesitation pulling hard around 4500 rpm so I'll change them again.

my recent VW 2.0 TSI had plug change interval of 60tkm from the factory. different engine etc. but its good safety procedure to keep the plugs in good order.
