The Toyota USA video for the 2025 model mentions Sport and Snow modes for stability control, with these buttons below.
It seems to be on the new manual models, was it on the UK auto model or is it completely new for 2025?

i think the uk auto had these modes already. They’re new for 2025 on the manual but i don’t believe they are being sold in the uk anymore

I remembered something about the auto having a snow setting.

It's a minor point and all a bit academic when we can't upgrade from 2022 or 2023 model year.
Thankfully we don't have speed limit bongs and lane departure correction that would have to come with it.:)

I was all set to hate them but they’re not as annoying as I thought in the new Yaris and can be turned off quickly. In Europe last weekend they were very useful and I left them on all the time.

The speed warning and front crash thing can be useful. I’ve used them on hire cars but i definitely don’t want any of it on the 86.

Personally, I can’t see a situation where I’d use those mode buttons anyway, would be a bit redundant for me

Same here. The only bit of tech I'd find useful would be kerb-proximity sensors. 😂

The uk auto has those but they’re gearbox settings, not traction / stability

Although the video says 'standard' for the selectable modes, the pictures they show only show it on the automatic car - all the shots they have of the manual gear box has a blank plate just like our manuals. e.g. 4.57 on the video.

I thought they were more throttle map modes. The V8 I put in my Hilux had them. I omitted the option.
sport shifts high and fast, snow does low and slow and doesn't use 1st, not sure if it changes the throttle map to match, I’ve found snow is good for wet driving but useless actually in the snow

I used a standalone transmission controller with my own mapping anyway.
