I am about to book on a day at Anglesey - was it still quite a fun track to drive? Funnily enough the only other track day I’ve done was Blyton Park and the tight nature of the track meant it was ideal as you say.

I'm quite happy with BOES console - adds support on track. Although not that comfy as stock seats. but much better on track.

I was putting off getting ppf but I've had a few customers who have had ppf done by assetti performance and the work is faultless! I got in touch with them and after a few questions they said they would like to do mine... (Social media etc) then I've got a Trackday at Blyton Sunday.

Xpel ultimate plus self healing ppf... Full front end and Mirror covers etc.

I had to machine polish the coating off the front end first. .

Just Waiting for some arty finished shots in their booths.

Got the car back this Morning..... Top job. Off to do a Trackday Sunday then will ceramic coat over the ppf once back.

Well after the collins performance meet I decided to book some trackdays....aintree and Blyton park

Track rims... Bronze 9.5 pumaspeed alloys with nankang AR1 semi slicks.




Did Aintree and was fastest in the group... Upset a few evo owners. .. But I knew how they felt. Haha.

Times wise... Was 10mph down on top speed compared to the Evo.. But lap times identical. (using dragy lap) . The Evo no way corners like the yaris!.. And semi slicks just make it even more unreal in the bends

7.6 mpg all day on Track.

Hi mate...they aren't light..21kg wheel and 255/35/18 AR1 tyre

Good luck finding any of the wheels tho. They were discontinued over 2 years ago. They are stuttgart ST16. 9.5 ET 42. Pumaspeed bought aload of them and had them custom machined to suit a GR. Bola b1 are similar.

Well after the 3rd trackday as suspected the front caliper dust seals were totally toast. . Had the titanium shims in for the last trackday but by then they were already melted. 135mph braking didn't help at Aintree.

Phone call to Toyota dealer... Explained the issue...as first they said no. .. "a wearable rubber part"... But persistence and having 27 years working in a main dealer myself paid off and got booked in for inspection..

New front calipers on order.. Words like safety and blame in the report.. Being fitted in a week. . Fair play I was treated brilliantly by my dealer.

So... BCB brake high temp brake caliper seals bought... Mated with titanium shims, people have had no further problems.

Yeah, I saw they had them “on offer” for a long while, didn’t realise they had sold out.

Next up... Some more carbon.

The bfm performance bonnet struts were a terrible fit. And the brackets touched the wing.... So brackets removed... New bits welded on... Powder coated white and refitted. Thanks to Amanda for modding hers at the same time and giving me ideas.
