GR Yaris My Evo 6 build to GR Yaris build...

Think maybe a trip to the rollers in the next few months....with a view to either keeping the box on or a remap.

I want to see what it is with the mods i have. (maybe test with box on and off)

DTUK v2 box
Airtec Intercooler
Mongoose OPF back exhaust
Eventuri intake

It feels very punchy with good pull all the way up the revs.....(maybe the bhp result will start with a 3?)🤷‍♂️

I’m booked into to have the ECU remap with Litchfield next month to compare the 2.. I’m running DTUK V2 3-1 sometimes 3-3
 
Testing with box on/off would be really interesting

The Audi looks lovely, but I'd have the GR every day of the week.

Stacked up in my garage. Brand new with new ps4s tyres on. Haven't driven on them yet... As the 9.5 wide white ones look so good and aggressive. 😎.

Will either fit them soon... Or sell them.
 
Well off to assetti performance today for a few power runs to see where I'm at.

Dtuk v2 box

Made 303bhp and 416nm torque. On maha msr500 mega accurate dyno.

My "in car bumcheek dyno" felt is was 300 ish too. 😁... So didn't really need to dyno it.

Ran with the dtuk box off for 1 run... Made 15bhp less and 30nm less.

Assetti rolling road.....:cool:

Yes mate. Bhp was down 12bhp overall... 18bhp down peak with the box off. Torque down 20-30nm overall with box Off.

They dont claim anything really. Just some maps for different driving styles. Map 1 on mine is more mid/top end... Map 3 is mega responsive.

Always interesting to see the actual curves and how much midrange uplift there is.

@Philevo6 intersting build you've embarked on. Can I ask what spec your Speedlines are? They look like the Motorline version?

Hi.. Yes they are the deep dish motorsport ones with no center cap (not allowed in rallying) ... Made in a rare batch. 18x8 ET35 with a 7mm spacer and longer wheel nuts.
 
Went out in a collins mapped car today with same mods as mine (cheers to mark (TheManWithTheStick)(y)...to compare the collins map and the DTUK v2 box maps

Mine has custom paid for maps for my mods .

Impressions......marks car pulls harder 4000-5500 revs but both cars have very similar top end pull

I wouldnt say its night and day difference,but marks car is noticeably quicker in certain places..id say his was 330bhp ish

My car seems more responsive way down the revs,but that could be to do with me having the dtuk pedal box mod and one of the maps being a "responsive map"

Conclusion.....mark has cost me money🤣🤣......i do like the box but i can see me getting a map in the future,i just might wait for more development.

Dyno run from today... Updated custom dtuk maps... Extra bhp throughout the rev range but same peak. Extra torque throughout and 18nm more Peak.

303bhp....416nm torque. (306lb ft)
