GR Yaris Handling upgrades

Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely look to get a camber of around 2 degrees at the front. I actually prefer a toe in up front and back on all of the cars that I've driven. I find that it improves stability and gives more instant steering response and turn in.

Do you happen to have the part number or link to the camber bolts please?
I use 90105-17013

You do you for toe, don't forget that all car do not react the same way to alignement settings :)

Toe in front make the steering response less instant and make the car more reluctant to turn. But yes it give stability.

For toe, if you have a relative aggressive camber, the wheel will have a natural tendency to roll towards the centre of the car. I find it best to set neutral toe then, mark it up and then adjust toe slightly (like 1/24th of a turn at a time, each side) based on how much steering feel you get with your specific set of tires and tire pressure. There is imho no single 'correct' toe, rather one literally dials it in based on your setup.

This is my single best trick to get the best steering feel, and also the main reasons why the same car model can get very different appreciations for steering feel, because they actually weren't the same between different samples of the same car model.

Do you have the camber bolts for front camber ? Else you won't be able to change it.
I've spoken to the garage who are setting it up and they said that they have the bolts there so that the camber can be adjusted to 2 degrees. I think I'd be happy with 2 degrees front negative caster. If I feel like it's not enough, I'll look to change it at a later date.

As a quick and cheap upgrade have the Toyota camber bolts fitted and a fast road alignment from RRG Macclesfield. The touch of extra camber really improves the experience, tightens things up nearer the limit and it quells excessive understeer. I have this on my car which is a daily driver and it’s a no brainer.
