I agree and would have still gone for it at a higher price with these as standard, or part of a performance pack. However, for road use I haven't actually found the standard brakes lacking, so probably isn't money well spent unless taking it on track. Although since when has spending "money well" ever been a thing with enthusiasts / drivers cars. 😁

Agreed, I had to emergency break the other day, as some idiot just completely pulled out of a junction and I had to slam the brakes.

Can confirm they do the job for road use.
 
They are perfectly adequate , and according to folks who know , OK for track use with the right pads. They just look 💩 on a sports/performance car , undersized and indistinguishable (unless your‘e a total anorak) from anything on a hybrid Corolla , C-HR etc. definitely the worst visual feature on the car , unless you can see any “dimples” on your rear end 🤔then that’s a total disaster 😳 😂😂😂
 
Can anyone recommend a decent garage to get these installed down the south - I’ve got the kit but Toyota won’t fit anything they don’t supply.
 
If you aren't in a hurry then BlackHawkJapan have them too for a bit of a saving.
 
Strange. Works fine for me….oh well.

If you just search on Torqen for ‘RCP206’ for the front pads and ‘RCP207’ for the rear pads you’ll find them. There’s various compounds available 👍🏻

So my order of TRD Brake Kit has finally arrived from Japan and will be fitted by @Fensport on July 5 🥳 Very excited 😁
