I've had my eye on a different kind of model GR86 for a little while now, and am still weighing up whether to go for it . . .

Had a Tamiya R/C car when I was younger and loved it. Would be interesting to see if the buzz still hits the same way!

[GR86GRY]

Got a cheaper alternative back in May to help with the wait

Currently sporting roof wrap and black duck tail !

[Kosh]

I also got 5 of them : 3 red, 1 white, 1 blue BRZ.

But you really need to change their wheels:

I would like to hear what it’s like if you get one. Been thinking about getting g one in the summer possibly.

There was a guy on a Facebook group that has the BRZ version and he works doing PPF. He did his own BRZ fully in PPF and has now done the same to the RC version

Damn, that puts my electrical tape across the roof to shame a bit!

Have the mini one whilst waiting too.

No, if you come across one do share.

Grabbed this 1/64 scale pop race model from a new shop near me:

I would love to get hold of a 1:18 resin model by 'Idea', quite expensive but they look nice.

Just buy a 1/24 Tamiya kit and take your time building it. They are a fantastic detailed model.

There is a Hot Wheels GR86 in blue. The race car so will be looking for it

Are these from the MiniGT brand?

No, the only MiniGT made GR86 is currently a pre-order: https://minigt.tsm-models.com/index.php?action=product-detail&id=1440&b_id=7#d6080

That is beautiful, I would love one with a ducktail. Expensive indeed but when you think of how much some of the simple parts we buy for the actual car cost, you can kind of justify it

[DpM]

For anyone interested Pop Race have pre-orders up for a a few standard GR86 1/64 scale, for a tenner they are fantastic. They have sold out but I expect that means local suppliers will have a few in stock soon.
Just no silver boooooo.
