GR86 GR86 Infotainment

I'm using a Pixel 6, it always drops out at the same place on my way home from work, which is fine as I know there is some interference at that part of my journey but it now does it more regularly in different places, it dropped out 3 times in a 3 hour journey yesterday and I had to unplug and replug Carsifi to get it connect. This morning it wouldn't connect from the start of my journey, I will reach out to them today to see what they suggest.
Possibly a daft suggestion but are you using a 90 degree usb cable? I understand the straight ones foul on the armrest when closed and so can knacker the cable/usb port

Just drove home and currently sat outside on the drive waiting for the head unit to sort itself out. Tried switching it off, killing the ignition but it keeps coming back to this screen.
Any other ideas bar maybe a battery disconnect?

Have you tried a hard infotainment reset? When the car is on, push down both knobs for around 20 seconds and the head unit hard resets.

Sorted out my Apple Car Play 'unable to connect right now' issue.

I'm surprised by reports of a carsifi dropping out. Mine's been unremarkable in it's constant reliability. Been playing spotify through it recently for hours on end without a single issue.

My head unit had been dropping out occasionally and messages such as “your device cannot be recognised” or comments about needing to sync the phone time were appearing when using wired Android Auto; frustratingly this continued after installing a Carsifi unit a fortnight ago, though it always reset itself quickly.

This morning I did a reset on the head unit thanks to the suggestion above (single button press for ten seconds according to the manual rather than both buttons though), and after thirty seconds or so it rebooted, with Android Auto coming on a while later. So far, no issues whatsoever, and I’m now hoping for an experience as seamless as others seem to be having…

Awesome!! Hopefully that fixes it for you too, I've had no issues since!

Sure, I used this site and a discount code from a YouTube review I watched.

Did you buy it from that site (which had the price in dollars)?
