Think I’ll feel lucky if my car arrives undamaged. 
Picked mine up today too. Luckily no dramas except for missing mud flaps which will be fitted next month. Contrary to some I've found my dealer (Inchcape Basingstoke) to be pretty engaged in the whole thing despite them not making as much money so all in all not a bad experience

Apparently the company that made the mud flaps has gone bust. Toyota are trying to source a new company who can manufacture them so I imagine it will be some time before they actually get them to dealers/customers.Steven Eagell said they dont know when the mudflaps will be available.
Interesting to hear - Inchcape said their system is showing 7th October ETA but maybe that's just system generated nonsense. Apparently they were also struggling to get them for other models too. I quite liked the shape of the ones on the configurator. I hope they just get a new manufacturer to make the same thing rather than try and mug us off with generic ones...

Having delayed handover a couple of weeks so i could pick up on Friday 1st, i got a call on Thursday morning saying the car had failed the inspection at the dealer.
Long story short, it needs a new ECU which is on back order until 26th October....

Think I'll put off collection of mine to 1st October - I've called Guildford about a million times and no response from the guy who's meant to be doing the handover. I'm busy next week, so that's not going to work and I can't see the point of paying for roadtax for a whole month when I've only had the car for 2/3 weeks of the month.

You don’t have to pay road tax until a year after registration. It’s included in the OTR price.
