Ah ok thanks, guess I'll be waiting until July 1st to order then, hopefully it doesn't disappear before that. Might be one of the last to order if July 3rd is the cutoff

For clarity a £1,000 deposit is taken at the time of ordering. If you are financing the car with Toyota the remaining deposit is taken about a week before delivery.Ah ok thanks, guess I'll be waiting until July 1st to order then, hopefully it doesn't disappear before that. I think on the 'new batch' the deposit is £1000 in total - one of the reasons the monthlies are so much higher is that you're financing that extra £3777 + paint cost.

It’s finally happened!
It has been at the dealership for threee weeks in which time they haven’t managed to do the parking sensors or spoiler BUT I have it!

Very nice, the shadow almost casts a black stripe down the middle of the bonnet like the trueno edition!

I tried to get the same rough pics as the day I got rid of my GT but some inconsiderate dog walkers were using the car park

I put my order in 2 days ago and got a "left the factory" status update about 6 hours later (damn those guys are fast workers
)
Which of course made me think perhaps I might have been allocated one that had already left the factory at some point in the recent past.
Has anyone else seen similar accelerated status updates, does that mean I'm suddenly going to have the dealer calling me in the next 1-2 weeks calling me to collect? (hope not! tbh - was banking on at least 1 month hopefully longer)
(test driving one at Stockport this week)

I and several others have had exactly this. Your dealer won’t be calling that soon, as it will go to the depot first, so it will still be several months yet. Have Toyota GB not given you an ETA?
