GR86 GR86 Delivery Tracking and Collection thread

Does anyone have a good idea of how many weeks/months I'd need to wait from my car entering build... to me getting the keys?

I'm still at "Order processing", but I'm trying to work out roughly how long I'd need to plan moving my current car on, once my car *does* start to become something more than a figment of my imagination!

(I know the answer is bound to be in this forum somewhere, but I don't have the energy to trawl through the myriad posts about vessels and spoiler installation costs to find it!)

Two weeks to go into build, one month on the ship, then... Well, that’s as far as we’ve got so far 😅

I was advised by Toyota it is a conservative 3 months.

I emailed Toyota today in response to a voicemail confirming the standard 3 questions pre delivery.

I asked if they’d need to do another finance check. They confirmed this because it’s over 90days.

The email also states they ‘aiming’ for a December delivery.
 
Toyota told me no car for me this year it will be in 2023 and will take approx 4 months from in build stage on the app to delivery.
10.47 confirmed order.
Sorry I asked now and will start looking for something else ☹️
Looking at the forum makes me 😞

I'm a 10.56 order with a delivery March/April 2022....had that info from 3 different sources at Toyota UK.....

Unfortunately I also had my Toyota dealer tell me March 2023 but I am the back of the queue. My gut feel is that they just gave everyone a March 2023 delivery date who wasn’t in build as it was exactly 6 months time from when my dealer was notified of my delivery date.

Hopefully we’ll be surprised but TUK told me I will be 2024. Dealer was just telling me what appeared on his system.
 
This getting bizarre now, my car left the factory on the 17th of May, close to 6 months ago……. Still no approximate delivery date.
