GR86 GR86 Delivery Tracking and Collection thread

I asked Toyota 2 weeks ago to change the colour (which means the car that was assigned to me and was already in Derby isn't mine anymore, and I'm at the end of the queue), and they did confirm the change was made. Funnily enough, in MyT the colour of the car was changed, but all other details remained the same (est delivery date, tracking history, or VIN checked via dev tools). I don't expect this to be true but wanted to check if anyone had a similar experience?

I changed my colour but my car was not in build. I was told that the colour in MyT would not change, and it hasn’t. Strange yours did.

Mine had done the same, has any other electric blues had the same? Maybe they removed the image in the database.I’ve somehow managed to go backwards. Instead of a Electric Blue GR86 I now just get an outline of a badly drawn car

I have the Electric Blue image in MyT. Still on order processing though which might make a difference ??

just checked mine and it’s the cartoon outline too. I was a black MT but changed to Silver

Had an email back from Toyota confirming they can appraise my car but 2 weeks before, obviously no obligation to take the offer. They also confirmed car is due to be at dealer towards end of October which matches everything I've had so far.
I am placing far too much faith in the estimate of the 17th October. I was going to book that week off work, but I'm fully expecting a last minute delay.

Booked it off. Had one full week left and only gap I could take. I still have 3 days to use before December if I need to make a long weekend.

I think / hope mine was on the aphrodite, otherwise ive been following the wrong boat for a monthWas having a nose on vesselfinder.com earlier, looking at Portbury arrivals. I notice Aphrodite Leader (which rings a bell....think the guys on the Yaris forum confirmed it's one which carries Toyotas) docked this morning. It left Nagoya on July 28th. So if anyone got their "Left the Factory" update around that time, perhaps your car arrived in the country this morning and you'll get another update soon.

My status changed to left the factory on 4th August, so wont be on this one. Hopefully it may be on the next. I will keep an eye on the Portbury expected arrivals over the next week or so. Beats doing work.

Mine's been like this for a week or so now, black though so doesn't fit the theory!
Big milestone today. Its the 1st September...which means that the next time someone asks me "when is your car turning up?" I can now say "Next month" with reasonable confidence.
Of course, now I've typed that, there will of course be further delays.
