GR86 GR86 Delivery Tracking and Collection thread

Went down to my dealer last week regarding PX my current car. They said you have to contact the online team and they will provide a value. They would not even look at it to give me an idea. So I wouldn’t waste your time just email Toyota GB

WBAC were bidding high for sub 5 year old stuff a few months back.

Or try Motorway.

Odd that they didn't even want to look at it though, any car is a potential profit for them, even if they trade it onto another dealer.

Dealers really don't care then. I almost feel apprehensive letting them service it if they have an attitude.

Just in case useful to anyone, I sold my 2.0L mx5-nd a while back using webuyanycar.com for 5k less than I paid for it from new. I'd had it for 4.5 years. And the cash was in my account within 2hrs. Flawless service, given I decided to sell it earlier that same day. Unbelievable price and very convenient, as long as you've a reasonable MOT left on it (ideally >6 months).

I used the car buying group and they were brilliant. Gave me a great price and they come to you and take the car away. They cleared finance and transferred the balance to me before they took car away. Would definitely use again

Was having a nose on vesselfinder.com earlier, looking at Portbury arrivals. I notice Aphrodite Leader (which rings a bell....think the guys on the Yaris forum confirmed it's one which carries Toyotas) docked this morning. It left Nagoya on July 28th. So if anyone got their "Left the Factory" update around that time, perhaps your car arrived in the country this morning and you'll get another update soon.

My status changed to left the factory on 4th August, so wont be on this one. Hopefully it may be on the next. I will keep an eye on the Portbury expected arrivals over the next week or so. Beats doing work.

Atlas Leader or Cape Town Highway I narrowed mine down to. Doesn't really matter since it's expected to land on the 22nd.
No idea for mine. All the free ship tracking sites will only show the most recent history for ports/ships, and I didn't think to check after I got the notification. Otherwise I could just call up Nagoya, go back to the 4th and look for vehicle carriers departing.

I’ve somehow managed to go backwards. Instead of a Electric Blue GR86 I now just get an outline of a badly drawn car 😂

So I idly checked the MyT app today and noticed there was more detail against all of the entries as seen here:

Checked the dev tools trick and I now have an estimated delivery date of 05-12-2022! For reference I’m a 10:20 order. Excited to see things finally moving along.
