I asked TOL and they gave me Vin number. If yours is on ship should be able to provide

Mine still says processing but has been built and in the country. Just waiting on a date from Toyota now. Take the tracker with a pinch of salt! Call Toyota for accurate updates. They pick up immediately most of the time and are pretty helpful.

It's still great value, even at the new price.

A new MX-5 is a similar price, but only 184ps and a 2 seater.

Mine too, assume yours was also on Goodwood vessel which docked yesterday?

Ive also had a call from dealership to say the car is due to be with them around 20th August and confirmed it won’t be registered until September so will be on a 73 plate, getting exciting now..

No idea what vessel it was on. All very exciting though. Family car, track car and fun car all sorted now!
 
Howdy folks. My first post!

Sapphire blue 6MT ordered 18th July
Test drove light blue on Saturday
Welcome call today but no ETA yet!

After seeing the light blue I pleaded to change sapphire blue to white or silver (dark wheels/styling bits get lost on dark cars in my opinion) but there was no movement on anything. The sneaky ask for parking sensors was shut down promptly too! Suspect we're getting to the end of the UK spec production run.

Order still processing but they estimated October

Yeah 100%. MX5 still a great car, love my NA it was going to get a V6 engine swap this summer but the waitlist for the GR86 came through so the mx5 project will be put on the back burner again!

You'll be sorted if @Triggaaar gets his "time to order" email this week... He wants the blue so you can both speak to Toyota UK and swap cars while they are en route

Got an update, 19/09/23 to my chosen Toyota centre.

Not sure long I’ll need to wait after that, what’s typical processing time by the dealers?
 
So, I've got a first world problem.

Having been offered the chance to order a car, I did so with a projected delivery date of October.

Toyota have now come back saying first week of August. I assume a canceled order has shuffled the queue.

For a variety of reasons (holiday, family issues, work commitments) October suited me fine. August does not.

Does anyone else have an order in for a Sapphire Manual which they would like to swap to August?

I'll see if I can get Toyota to make the change.

I’d be asking how long the receiving dealer can store the car…

If the answer doesn’t suit then you can go down the swap with another customer route
 
Similar to @GR Duster I placed my order on 18/07/23 with an expected delivery time of 12 weeks. No welcome call or anything else until today when I got an email saying the order was showing on MyT. It's now on it's way to the dealership apparently. I'd planned a few things and worked finances around October or at the earliest September, so that's messed my plans up a little bit!
