This section of the forum wouldn't be complete without a thread on GR Yaris mudflaps!!

There are now quite a few options in terms of mudflaps for the GR Yaris:
  • Rallyflapz
  • Rallyflapz shorties
  • Mudflap Factory
  • Automotive Passion
  • DIY (as demonstrated by @marcusfordus)
  • Probably loads of others as well
Wasn't sure before I got the car, but I definitely think the GR Yaris looks better with flaps. Whilst the ones I have (rallyflapz) don't provide full protection (the sides of mine are caked in mud), they certainly protect the sides and the rear arches from some flying debris. I can tell this, because the front flaps are caked in stuff. Not how helpful the rear flaps are, but I think they look good.

So, go ahead and post some pictures of your flaps!

Standard Rallyflapz, fitted slightly differently to the instructions at the rear to have them how I wanted.

Yay! Another mudflap thread!

Mud Flap Factory here. I like them enough that I'm considering a second set to keep in a box in case anything happens to these. Good for those who like a slightly wider flap in comparison to RallyFlapz, and no drilling of arch liners required. Surprisingly hard to photograph.

hello. Just came over from the other forum. Was wondering if you guys would recommend the standard rallyflappz or the smaller rallyflapz based purely on function. meaning protection. A third option is the carbon ones from Automotive Passion. I want a discrete look, but most important is protection. Cheers!

Noticed yesterday that left front rallyflap had gone missing. Any others with similar issues? It lasted there 6 months

No problems here. I used one bolt and three (or was it 4?) fir tree fixings, and they're solid.

So much so that when the badger attacked my car it went into the wheel arch and ripped out the wheel arch liner, but the mudflap stayed on (as did the bit of the liner where the flap attached to it and the car).

Standard big flaps in front, and small ones rear. However if you live in the nordics, cars behind will not thanks you for flying stones... The big ones have a better chance of stopping those.

And minimum PPF on rear arches.

I agree with Kinboshi that they look standard, I’m not one to modify cars but I have the standard Rallyflapz and happy.

I have standard rallyflapz too, just saying the shortiez are much more discreet front and rear.
